Апстракт: This talks presents recent attempts, both from the machine learning and operations research communities, in order to produce intelligent optimization methods. Several interesting self-adaptive optimization methods have lately emerged for the solution of various computationally difficult problems. These methods have gained substantial interest both in business and academia. In this lecture, we will present two examples using the Variable Neighborhood Search metaheuristic and also discuss some open research problems.
